Rich, sweet and beautifully layered. Meet Waturi Estate. 👉🏼

Grown in Murang’a, Kenya by David Murathe and his team, this washed lot is processed entirely on the 8-hectare estate, giving them control over every stage from harvest through to the final green coffee. Brilliant 👏🏼

You can expect notes of stewed plum, toffee, jasmine tea and dried mango, creating a cup that balances rich sweetness with the vibrant character Kenyan coffees are known for.

As a bonus to the notes of stewed plum, toffee, jasmine tea and dried mango, Waturi is purchased directly from the farm, which helps support better returns and foster stronger relationships with the people behind the coffee.

Our friends behind Praise Joe have recently opened Hayl Mary in Maryville – a bright new space built around good food, great hospitality and plenty of P&R coffee.

Case in point: the Barista’s Breakfast, serving espresso, flat white and filter together on one board for those who prefer not to choose. 👏🏼

Swipe for a look around, then go pull up a chair and welcome them to the neighbourhood!

How can two coffees from the same place taste so different?

Meet Jigesa Natural and Jigesa Washed: two coffees from Faysel Abdosh in Guji, Ethiopia, sourced from the same community of around 750 independent out-growers and processed at the same washing station. The difference? The processing.

The Natural is sweet, fruity and clean, while the Washed is elegant and complex.

Want to taste the difference for yourself? Add Jigesa Natural AND Jigesa Washed to your cart and you’ll get 10% off the pair!

It’s a brilliant way to experience just how much processing can shape what ultimately ends up in your cup, even when the coffee comes from the very same place.

Same origin, two processes. Now it’s your turn to compare ⚖️

What people say

Pablo & Rusty's Coffee Roasters is a small batch specialty coffee roaster that has been making waves in the coffee industry since its inception in 2003. Founded by Saxon Wright, the company was named after his two coffee-loving brother-in-laws and started as a cafe on Sydney's North Shore with a small off-site roastery. However, due to popular demand from cafes for wholesale supply, the roasting side of the business grew quickly and became the core focus.

Today, Pablo & Rusty's supplies numerous outlets across Australia and offers an extensive subscription program for homes and offices. The company also has two stores in Sydney CBD and Brisbane CBD which serve as their 'sand pits' to test coffees, equipment, and ideas in pursuit of the best cafe experience.

What sets Pablo & Rusty's apart is their commitment to positively impacting people and planet through coffee. They have taken their journey all over the world and now firmly focus on sustainability and stewardship to ensure that their industry has a long and bright future.

Their Training Bar and Roastery located at 3 Plassey Road, North Ryde is a must-visit for any coffee enthusiast. With opening hours from Monday to Thursday (6:30am-5pm), Friday (6:30am-8pm), and Saturday (8am-3pm), you can enjoy their delicious coffee at any time of day.

Overall, Pablo & Rusty's Coffee Roasters is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for high-quality specialty coffee that is sustainably sourced. Their commitment to excellence shines through in every cup they serve!
