This dish has two moods:
First bite: “Wow this is amazing.”
Third bite: “Why is my forehead sweating?” 🌶️🍳😂

Good food is one thing.
But seeing families sit together, laugh together, and enjoy a little moment like this is what gives the café its heart.

Unfortunately for them, getting sliced, buttered, and grilled into cheese toasties was always the plan.

Croissant people will zoom into the layers like they’re property inspectors 🥐🔍😂
“Yeah… this one looks serious.”

UPDATE: This matter has now been resolved.
The families involved contacted us directly, acknowledged what happened and took full responsibility. We genuinely appreciate the honesty, accountability and respect they have shown in addressing the situation.
The young people involved will be returning to the café to help clean the area and rectify their actions. They will also spend some time with our bakery team, turning an unfortunate incident into a practical learning experience.
We want to be clear: vandalism is not acceptable. Small businesses work extremely hard to create welcoming spaces for the community, and damage to someone’s property should never be treated lightly.
At the same time, we believe that when young people make a mistake, accountability and guidance can be more powerful than public embarrassment. A mistake should not define a child when they are willing to take responsibility and learn from it.
We now consider the matter closed. We kindly ask the community not to speculate, identify or make negative comments about anyone involved.
Thank you to everyone who reached out and supported our cafe.

There is something special about seeing people slow down for a simple coffee.
No rush, no noise, just a table, a chat, and a little pause in the day.
