Dear Friends,
We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of dear Lisa this week.
Although life was often difficult for her, she always made the pilgrimage to PPK for her well-deserved reward. Even as recently as last Sunday, Lisa was with us in her wheelchair, enjoying the sunshine and coffee with her special friends. It is heartbreaking that she is gone, but I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to give her a hug every day that I saw her over recent months.
If anyone here knew Lisa, could you please share her last name privately to my email address? I would like to properly pay my respects.

FOH hospitality professional required for our busy café in Pyrmont. Barista, coffee making skills are necessary. This position would suit a permanent resident in Sydney.
We are PPK ~ Pirrama Park Kiosk, a licensed café located on the waterfront in Pyrmont, close to all public transport.
PPK has a relaxed happy and professional vibe and our local clientele love what we do. If you are the right fit then this is a great place to work.
This is a serious professional position requiring a person who will report directly to the owner and assist in the day to day running and growth of a successful business. The salary package offered will reflect this.
Age is not an issue however common sense is a MUST!
The position IS FLEXIBLE however a guide is 6.30am - 4.30pm 4-5 days, generally 2-3 days off.
The opportunity of managing up to 10 staff at a time
Stock control including ordering 
Managing quality, service and cleanliness

Pirrama Park Kiosk (PPK) is a busy 120 seat cafe on the Pyrmont waterfront and we are looking for an experienced, passionate Café professional to join our team. If you have loads of Common Sense, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment delivering excellent customer service and love to be backed up by amazing hospitality professionals serving delicious food and coffee, then this is a tremendous opportunity for you!
Qualification & experience requirements
• Has a passion for providing excellent customer service and is quality focused with a keen eye for detail
• Skills in day to day running of a cafe
• Professional and clear communication
• Barista skills and speciality coffee knowledge is an added advantage.
• Great personality, common sense & personal presentation
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
• Available to work weekends
Tasks & responsibilities
• Ability to ‘lead by example’ - perform all hands-on roles and duties from waiting tables to preparing barista grade coffees when barista takes a break.
• Training new staff if required
• Possibly a future supervisor level, managing up to 10 Staff per shift and reporting (when required) to the Owner
• Shift management - Ordering, Managing open, close, cash and checklist procedures
• Cafe hours - 6.30-4.30-days only, no nights, no split shifts

PPK - Pirrama Park Kiosk in Pyrmont is on the hunt for a Chef / Cook with passion.
We are a tight knit cafe who treats each other as family, with an obsession for great food and delicious Campos coffee.
Cafe hours are super friendly 7am-4pm which encourages a great work/life balance.
Position details are 4 or 5 Dayshifts per week - 7am-3.30 / 4pm - 32 to 35 hours (weekends are required)
Job description: cooking whilst maintaining a quality standard across prep and service. - Happy, motivated and bubbly personality - Passionate about cafe food and culture - Respectful and polite to everyone - Clean and tidy at all times with up to date knowledge of food safety.
Minimum 2 year cafe working experience in Australia - creativity and knowledge of seasonal produce and trends.

The café is located in Pirrama Park, which is situated in the Pyrmont area of Sydney. For those using public transport, you can take a train to the Pyrmont Bay Station and then walk for 15 minutes to reach the park. Alternatively, you can take a bus to the Harbourside Shopping Centre and then walk for 10 minutes to get there.
If you prefer driving or taking a taxi, navigate towards Pirrama Road in Pyrmont and continue until you reach the park's entrance. There are parking spaces available inside the park for visitors' use.

Pirrama Park Kiosk, located at the waterfront end of Harris Street in Pyrmont, is a must-visit café for coffee and donut lovers. The kiosk serves Campos Coffee, which is hot and fresh, and their donuts are simply delicious. The café also offers a range of other tasty treats such as porridge with hazelnut and pistachios. PPK has a great work/life balance for its staff with no split shifts and 4 or 5 day shifts per week. The chef/cook position requires a minimum of 2 years' experience in Australian cafes, creativity, knowledge of seasonal produce and trends, and up-to-date knowledge of food safety.
