Cafe in Balmain is looking for a Waiting staff, Kitchen Hand with minimum one year experience.
The right candidate will be able to work at a fast pace with their quality of service. Must have a friendly personality and work well within a team environment.
You’ll be responsible
Physical set up and operation of the wash up area and thorough clean down area at the end of shift
-Ensuring all kitchen equipment, dishes, cutlery and glasses are cleaned and are returned, dry and stacked in appropriate order and locations throughout the kitchen, storage areas
-Assisting chefs and kitchen staff in food preparation
-Performing basic kitchen tasks such as peeling, cutting, and washing vegetables
Handling and storing food items properly to maintain freshness and prevent contamination
-Receiving and checking deliveries, ensuring items are stored correctly
-Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation during service
Hours are between 7am-4pm no night shift
