Once you know what pre-shredded lettuce tastes like, you start noticing it everywhere.
Kebab shops. Fast food chains. Burger joints.
I get why they use it — lettuce goes off quickly and chopping it fresh takes time.
But fresh-cut lettuce is undefeated. The crunch, the texture, the flavour… it’s not even close. 🥬
That’s why we chop ours fresh in-house.

Burger restaurants are a dime a dozen, but finding one that stands out from the rest can be a challenge. Renegade Burgers on Norfolk Road in Sydney is one such place that has managed to do just that. Their menu boasts unique and delicious burgers, but they also know how to do the classics right. The OG Cheeseburger is a must-try, and their loaded fries are the perfect accompaniment.
Renegade Burgers takes pride in their in-house made chicken mayo, which customers rave about. It's a one-of-a-kind sauce that can't be replicated anywhere else. And if you're looking for something different, try their Drip vs Smoked Truffle burger or The Dreamer paired with Smoked Truffle - both are sure to impress.
But it's not just the food that makes Renegade Burgers stand out - it's the atmosphere too. Happy faces and full trays are a common sight here, and it's always good to see friends coming together for a feed. Plus, their warm potato and gravy on a cold winter's night is unbeatable.
If you're looking for an exceptional burger experience, head over to Renegade Burgers this weekend and find out why they're different from all the rest.
