Dessert and a nightcap. Because finishing dinner without either would be terribly un-French.
No further questions, s’il vous plaît.

Spring has arrived in Sydney, which means terrace tables are back in business.

The French have always understood that good produce needs very little fuss.
Our ocean trout is served gravlax-style, delicately cured and paired with the gentle heat of horseradish dressing, soft herbs and lemon. A little nod to the French bistro tradition of letting simple ingredients speak for themselves.

Grilled pork chop meets earthy truffle, sweet apple and the warmth of green peppercorn sauce, with silky celeriac purée underneath to catch it all.
Four very good things that are even better on one plate.

Tucked away on a tree-lined terrace in Redfern, but once you’re inside, Sydney feels a few miles away.
A cosy dining room, French classics on the table and a bottle of w**e open. Paris? Not quite. Close enough for dinner.

Market fish baked beneath a golden herb crust, served over rich creamed spinach with a generous squeeze of lemon to cut through it all.
Best accompanied by something cold, crisp and French from the w**e list. 🇫🇷
