Deli 55 Deli 55, a family-owned restaurant located on Kalang Road in Elanora Heights, was a popular supermarket/convenience store, coffee shop, and deli. Their charcuterie boards featuring Italian prosuittio, Scottish whiskey cheddar, and homemade honey soaked apricot & fig were a crowd favorite. Sadly, they closed their doors permanently at 4:00 pm on Friday 29th July 2022.

DEAR CUSTOMERS

IT IS WITH GREAT SADNESS AND A VERY HEAVY HEART THAT I INFORM YOU THAT I HAVE HAD TO MAKE THE VERY DIFFICULT AND QUICK DECISION TO CLOSE OUR DOORS PERMANENTLY AT 4.00PM ON FRIDAY 29TH JULY 2022.

COME IN BEFORE WE CLOSE TO GRAB YOUR FRESH SLICED HAM, SALAMI ETC AND GRAB A BARGAIN OR TWO.

I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO THANK ALL OUR LOYAL FAMILY, FRIENDS AND CUSTOMERS (SOME OF WHOM ARE NOW CONSIDERED FAMILY) FOR BEING SO SUPPORTIVE OF OUR LITTLE DELI. YOU HAVE BEEN MY MAIN INSPIRATION AND REASON WHY IT’S BEEN SUCH A DIFFICULT DECISION TO MAKE AND I WILL MISS YOU ALL TERRIBLY.

Italian prosuittio, plain mortadella, hot flat sopressa, hot siciliano, xtra hot bomba, mild della nonna, homemade honey soaked apricot & fig, Sicilian olives, mixed olives, will studd triple cream cheese, Scottish whiskey cheddar, provolone piccante, mini bread sticks, Nero’s flatbread… 🤤🤤

All that’s missing here is a glass of wine & a warm fire… 🍷

Here’s to our first offical year since we opened deli 55…We would like to thank all of our friends & family for the support since day one. 🤭

We have faced many challenges between closures & covid but have risen above it all… We wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for our amazing customers… thanks to all our amazing suppliers, loyal customers.

It’s only up from here…💋

For those who are travelling via public transport, you can take the train to Lindfield Station. From there, walk towards the intersection of Tryon Road and Pacific Highway to catch a bus heading towards Kalang Road. Get off at Kalang Road and find the supermarket/convenience store and nearby coffee shop and deli within walking distance.

If you prefer to drive, take the Pacific Highway until you reach Kalang Road. Look for a parking spot along the street or in nearby parking lots.

Please note that while these directions do lead to the location of Deli 55, they have not been advertised as such per your request.

We thank Tania (Crazy Sock Lady) and Laura (Moody Barista) for their hard work and dedication towards making Deli 55 such a special place in our hearts.
