To all our friends in the Allambie community
We have made the decision to close Bubala.
We wanted to offer a concept that was different & exciting, however due to the current economic conditions we saw that it was affecting our patronage.
We would like to thank all the valued customers that visited regularly & we would also like to thank the Jones family, who own the centre for their support over the last few years.
Once again thankyou.

What people say
Bubala is a charming café located in Grigor Place, Sydney that offers a modern twist to traditional Mediterranean dishes from the Middle East, Italy, Greece and Spain. The café's name itself is endearing and fun, just like their menu. Bubala serves up some of the most delicious dips with charred laffa bread that are perfect for starters. Their hummus, beetroot & sweet potato, burnt eggplant dips are simply divine!
The café is also pet-friendly and welcomes all babies including fluffy ones. So you can bring along your furry friend while you enjoy a scrumptious meal. Bubala also has an incredible dessert menu that includes their famous Baklava Ice Cream Sandwich which is a must-try.
What sets Bubala apart from other cafes is their commitment to providing paddock-to-plate food experiences. Head Chef Jess has over 15 years of experience working in fine dining hatted restaurants such as Aria, Otto and Lumi before opening Bubala with her co-owner Nick at the age of 29. Her passion for food shines through in every dish she creates.
Overall, Bubala is a fantastic café that offers delicious food and exceptional service. It's definitely worth visiting if you're looking for a unique dining experience in Sydney.
