Did you know one of India’s most iconic dishes was born from a simple kitchen problem?
Butter Chicken was created by Kundan Lal Gujral as a way to repurpose leftover tandoori chicken — and the result became a global favourite loved across continents.
At Foreign Return, we honour that legacy with every rich, flavourful serving.

That first sip, first bite, first look across the table… yeah, that kind of night.
Some evenings deserve more than just dinner—they deserve a little drama, a little sparkle, and a lot of good wine.
Come for the meal, stay for the chemistry. We’ll handle the ambience.

Some cocktails don’t whisper sophistication—they announce it.
Bright, botanical, and beautifully balanced, this is the kind of drink that makes you pause after the first sip.
Elegant enough for the camera roll, dangerous enough for “just one more.”
Proceed responsibly.

Comfort food, but with a Foreign Return passport.
Our Dhaba Anda Masala brings bold highway-style flavours, rich gravy, and just the right amount of spice to the table.
It’s rustic, nostalgic, and deeply satisfying—the kind of dish that demands bread on standby.
Messy fingers encouraged.

She’s spent years making sure everyone else is fed first.
This Mother’s Day, bring her somewhere she can simply sit back, sip, and smile.
A table full of comfort, conversation, and the kind of meal she doesn’t have to cook herself.
Because this season is for her.

These aren’t just cocktails. They’re stories in a glass with a passport.
Layered with nostalgia, texture, aroma, and a little bit of theatre, every sip takes you somewhere unexpected.
The kind of drinks that start conversations and end in second rounds.

Not all journeys happen on land — some happen in a bowl.
Bangla Sagorer Jhol is our ode to the coast, where seafood, spice, and coconut come together in perfect harmony.
It’s comforting, it’s bold, and it tastes like a story that has travelled through generations.
One spoon and you’ll know — this is Bengal in a bowl, the Foreign Return way.

Did you know the humble potato wasn’t always Indian?
Introduced by the Portuguese in the 16th century, the aloo slowly found its way into our curries, our street food, and eventually, our everyday comfort food.
What started as a foreign ingredient became a desi favourite — and honestly, we can’t imagine our kitchens without it now.
At Foreign Return, we love telling stories through food, and our Chowpatty Aloo is exactly that — familiar, nostalgic, but with our own twist. Bold flavours, a little texture, a little drama — just like the streets it is inspired by.
Sometimes, the simplest ingredient has the most interesting story to tell.

Some places you go for the food.
Some places you go for the drinks.
And then there are places you go for the people, the conversations, and the moments that turn into memories.
Foreign Return has always been about that — long conversations, shared plates, laughter across the table, and “one more drink?” that’s never really the last.
Come for the food, stay for the stories, and leave with a reason to come back.

A familiar classic, told a little differently.
Our take on Machher Jhol brings together a seafood medley simmered in fragrant spices, finished with a hint of coconut for that unmistakable coastal warmth.
Light, comforting, and layered with flavour—just the way good stories should be.
Come, take your time with this one.

Brunch at Foreign Return is not a meal, it’s a weekly ritual.
A little bit of spice, a lot of good food, and drinks that keep the conversation flowing.
It’s where long afternoons turn into great stories and second rounds feel like a great idea.
If weekends had a flavour, this would be it.

Slow-cooked, layered, and built to impress.
The Avi Kaval brings together tender braised lamb neck, deep aromatic spices, and a rich, savoury jus—resting perfectly on toasted gluten-free bread and finished with fresh greens for balance.
Every bite is bold, comforting, and unapologetically indulgent.
This isn’t just a dish, it’s a slow story on a plate.

Some walls don’t just hold frames, they hold stories.
At Foreign Return, every corner has a past, a memory, a conversation waiting to happen.
You might come for dinner, but you’ll stay for the stories on the walls and the ones at your table.
Because here, the ambience is as carefully curated as the menu.

Crisp on the outside, melt-in-the-mouth on the inside — the kind of dish that disappears from the table faster than you expect.
Our Shaami Kebab is rich, delicate, and packed with flavour in every bite, made to be savoured slowly but usually finished very quickly. Some dishes are meant to be shared, but this one… you might want to order a second plate.
Consider this your warning.
