Hi all, it’s Nat here - the owner of Salt & Palm. I’m probably not seen around much in the dining areas as I’m usually inside the kitchen every service times. I’m also a bit shy 😅
I just want to personally say thank you to all of you who’ve supported Salt & Palm since day one. I’m really touched that for the past few weeks after I’ve announced our closing date, I have many of regular customers and friends come visiting us. Lots of people wishes us well, some even come to the kitchen to say thank you and extends their farewell. I am humbled.
Salt & Palm is my first “baby.” For the past five years or so, this has been my blood, sweet, and tears. Commuting to Glebe and running the shop with my team is my daily routine. Lots of hopes and dreams are shared in this place, and many valuable lessons are learnt.
It’s the last day today, so you are warmly welcomed to come for the last drink and dine with us before we are moving on to the next project 😊
I would like to share a lot more thoughts and plans for the future of Salt & Palm later on. But let’s keep it for the next post; parts of me are still grieving for this chapter of my life (even though I’m very excited for the future as well) and just wanted to take things slow for now.
See you soon!
