💖What an inspirational morning with Dr Mike Freelander MP, Greg Warren MP & our guest speaker Lisa Cotton!

Celebrating 5,000 meals cooked by the volunteers at the Macarthur Community Kitchen and Lisa's lived experience of how she overcame so many adversities. She is like a torchlight in the darkness and gloom in this world. As the CEO of Torchlight Foundation she is an inctedible role model.

Her interactive session made us dancing queens with ABBA songs.

More photos are coming up.

We are ever so grateful that we can be part of Macarthur Community Kitchen.
None of the wonderful meals could be cooked without so many generous and thoughtful people who beieve in this Rainbow Crossing Inc initiative.

🍛Last week Latifa Ayshan brought a vegetable steamer to make the cooking easier.
🍛Last term Thanh Co & Amanda Luu donated a commercial rice cooker and now we don't need to delay the cooking with small potions.
🍛We were delighted that Macarthur Sunrise Rotary invited us to speak about what we do and facilitated the donation of a ceramic cook top.
🍛Last year, Sue McGarrity facilitated Safety Health Consumables from Melbourne to donate a never ending supply of gloves.
🍛Antoinette Wadih Salloum always brings extra veges & things to enhance the nutrition in the meals and does Usha Dommaraju 4 community with her 40 eggs often.
🍛Macarthur Fresh 2560 donates veges & fruit but Lynne Couvakis very kindly brings them here- 'rain hail or storm'.
🍛Jane Tracey & Christy Laul thought of a card with a message to go out with every meal and so Angel Gifts for Rainbow Crossing Inc has done this from day one.
There are so many more people to thank which we will do soon.
Watch this space.

Our Jane Tracey on behalf of Angel Gifts for Rainbow Crossing Inc presented a 'cheque' for $862 to the 24 Hour Fight Against Cancer Macarthur chairperson Warren Morrison and deputy Sue McGarrity.

This grassroots local charity provides so much needed support and funds to Macarthur CancerTherapy Centre and the Palliative Care Unit at Camden Hospital.
