Macarthur Women's Coffee Club

Macarthur Women's Coffee Club The Macarthur Women's Coffee Club is a women's social and support group that convenes every Wednesday during the NSW school term at Oz Funland in Leumeah, specifically on Hollylea Road. This welcoming community provides an opportunity for women to connect and share experiences in a supportive environment. Although the regular sessions officially begin at 10 am on Wednesdays, the club offers informal gatherings during school holidays, allowing participants to enjoy a chat and a cup of tea while engaging in play and interactive activities for children.

Recently, the club has expressed gratitude towards members who contribute to its initiatives, including supporting charitable projects like Campbelltown Uniting Church's Christmas Plum Pudding project. The group's activities are characterized by camaraderie and shared joys, as seen in their festive wishes and collaborative fundraising efforts.

🌸Happy June 🌸 Spreading kindness.

The sun said: “Your turn to shine!"
Thank you to Megan Williams for donating so many 'My Heart Project' books. We will be reading these tomorrow and gifting them to those who are ill. It is appropriate as we get ready for our Happiest Morning tea raising funds for the 24 Hour Fight Against Cancer Macarthur that we can use these books to spread more comfort.

Today was a magical day!

Started off with singing Happy birthday to Tahlia, then admiring each others talents, planting vege seeds to take home and ended up with the celebrity appearance of Australia's #1 Michael Jackson Tribute artist Jason Jackson and his parents encouraging us at the Macarthur Community Kitchen.

Jason came to promote the volunteering we do, feeding the hungry and raising funds. The big fundraiser is Jackson Tribute Night is on Sat 20th June with him performing 4 songs. His mum really liked our 'Precious Book of Affirmations'.

This Wed 27th June Antoinette Wadih Salloum, will explain why gardening is therapeutic. The activity is to plant our own vege seeds and take home.

Also, because the upcoming Michael Jackson Tribute Night is raising funds for the Macarthur Community Kitchen Jason Jackson who is Australia's #1 MJ impersonator is coming to do a promotion for the cause. He will be performing 4 songs on the 20th of June at Oz Funland and we are looking forward to this.

During his interview on Channel 10 recently, he said that when he was 10 he was diagnosed with cancer and his one wish was to be like Michael Jackson. Let's cheer him on and also spread the news about our Morning Tea that's raising funds for the 24 Hour Fight Against Cancer Macarthur.

We realised that we are fooled easily by what we hear and see.

Today was an eye opener for us at the Media Literacy in a world full of noises, truth matters workshop by Indians in Sydney. Conversations and discussion on how to think critically, identify misinformation and feel confident in the information we see and share. Hosted by Mr Nadeem Ahmed. 4 lucky ladies received $50 gift vouchers too.

We also had a lovely visit from dear Anna De Nuntiis who brought goodies to thank us and Oz Funland for the support during her Pink Ribbon fundraiser last year.
Mum Thanh Co and Daughter Amanda Luu for the donation of a giant Rice Cooker and 5 Kgs of chicken and pasta to cook at our Macarthur Community Kitchen.
More photos are coming up.

Mum Jennifer & daughter kate were the special two who wore hot pink and also became the winners of Angel Gifts for Rainbow Crossing Inc Mother's Day lucky seat prizes. Maria Barone won the 3rd Prize of Oz Funland family pass.

We did crraft, sang songs and enjoyed great food together. Some of us cooked for Macarthur Community Kitchen's feeding the homeless project. Supported fruit and veges from Macarthur Fresh 2560.

Macarthur Multicultural Children's Festival 2026.
What an incredible day... an amazing turnout, beautiful weather, and a true celebration of colour, culture and unity .

This unique festival which started in 2018 is all about, bringing people together, celebrating diversity, and creating a space where every child and every culture is seen, valued and embraced.
This is an initiative of Rainbow Crossing Inc and therefore many of us like to volunteer and give back to our community. Very special thank you to Macarthur Fresh 2560 for donating fruit for our volunteers, Jane Tracey for donating so many items which were all received with thanks.

This is one of the many very sad situations that Shining Stars Foundation Street Outreach Service has helped with.

The man in the photo is being given one of the meals that Macarthur Community Kitchen cooked with Macarthur Women's Coffee Club volunteers who receive veges from Macarthur Fresh 2560.

That red card is the one that Angel Gifts for Rainbow Crossing Inc has made for the Anzac theme.
These are Rainbow Crossing Inc initiatives that are making a small difference one meal at a time.

A Massive THANK YOU to everyone that has donated, your response was amazing, but that’s our community you are all amazing.
We could not do what we do without your support, our buddies will all stay warm❤️💙because of your generosity ❤️💙⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you

The ladies at Campbelltown Outreach found this poor gentleman sleeping on the cold concrete, this could be someone’s Father, Brother. uncle, relative or friend, the girls called Lyn to get much needed warmth for him, we supplied him with hot meals , snacks, water, tent, sleeping bag and a Thermo mat to keep the cold away🥲🥲one of the ladies went and purchased a blanket as well 💙

We are in desperate need of two men Tents which can be purchased at BW Kmart around $13 winter sleeping bags, as I can’t stress enough how many homeless people we have and many more coming, every week now there is 2 to 3 new homeless people, we would appreciate any help thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you to all the ladies for caring and Mark for waiting for Lyn to arrive ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
