An inaugural performance by Nothing Too Serious yesterday, and despite the wind and rain, the support was outstanding. Huge thanks to the band, the Avalon community and the staff at The Yorkshire Rose, for making it a great event. Plus a big shoutout to Lara for managing all the finer details. 🎤🎵🎸🎹

TODAY (Sun 25th) kicks off The Nook Live “Sunday Sessions” at the Yorkshire Rose from 5pm with Nothing Too Serious and special guest Helen (In Kahoots)… so get those dancing shoes on and come enjoy great food and b**rs on tap (the best Guinness in town!!) and a selection of fine w**es (with specials for those on a budget!)… keeping it real for our Avalon community! Kicking off our “Sunday Sessions” this Sunday 27th Sept at The Yorkshire Rose from 5pm welcomes Something Less Serious - acoustic version of local band Nothing Too Serious - performing a diverse range of music that caters to all tastes.
From Pete Murray to Van Morrison , and more.
Dave “Poppo”, Rich Howard, Col Scott and Ant (AJ) Johnson perform a mixture of Vocal Harmonies, Harmonica and Sax, Bass and Acoustic guitars.
If you’re at a loose end and want to come and kick back or kick up your heels to some awesome entertainment whilst enjoying fine w**es, best b**r on tap and English grub - We can’t wait to see you!! 🎶

Hey folks! Liam & Lara are back!! 🍕And we’re firing up the pizza oven EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT to bring you some of your ol’ faves - inc a special each week - as we ease ourselves back into it! Along with all the OG classics… 😜 This week sees the return of the DOS and the R2… but we only have a limited amount so get in quick! Come and grab yours; eat in or take away, enjoy the best b**r 🍻 on tap or whatever your tipple. Can’t wait to see ya!

If you're coming from central Sydney, take the L90 bus which travels directly to Avalon Beach. Once you arrive at Avalon Beach, walk along Old Barrenjoey Road until you reach your destination.
