MARK YOUR CALENDARS, ‘WINTER HITS’ ARE HERE!
The people have spoken and this winter, Menzies Bar’s cult-favourite pasta series returns as “Winter Hits” starting now!
Created by Culinary Director Joel Bickford and his team, the much-loved pasta series returns with 12 weeks of handmade favourites, each one a nod to the dishes that regulars still talk about. Expect a rotating lineup of $25 pasta specials, alongside $10 wine, available daily until sold out.
This year’s lineup features the return of cult favourites including Lobster Ravioli, Crab Conchiglie, Spaghetti Vongole and Linguine Carbonara, alongside richer winter heavy-hitters like Braised Pork Maccheroni, Paccheri Genovese and Pappardelle Bolognese.
Whether it’s a quick midweek bowl at the bar or a longer dinner with friends, The Winter Hits are made for cooler nights in the CBD.
Pull up a seat and work your way through the series, one pasta at a time.

VIVID 2026 | WET, COLD + DELICIOUS
A Deep Dive Into Tuna is a not-to-be-missed Vivid experience celebrating Southern Bluefin Tuna season with a live Maguro Shoten experience and an unforgettable five-course dinner at Shell House.
The evening begins in the Clocktower Bar with a glass of Ruinart Champagne on arrival, before a visual and sensory feast as a giant Bluefin Tuna is expertly broken down by Narito Ishii in a moment of true theatre.. Hosted alongside celebrated seafood authority John Susman AO and Good Food Chef of the Year nominee Toshihiko Oe, the night offers rare insight into the sustainability, craftsmanship and extraordinary quality behind one of the ocean’s most coveted catches.
Guests will then move to the Dining Room for a five-course menu by Culinary Director Joel Bickford and Head Chef Jarrod Walsh, dedicated entirely to sustainably sourced Bluefin. Expect pristine raw expressions, refined composed dishes, and matching wines by Alex Kirkwood and Ed Fritis-Lamora.

The Shell House Dining Room & Terrace presents a spectacular Lobster & Chablis menu to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
Perched high above the city – in the sunshine for lunch, or surrounded by stars and city lights – celebrate with your lover or loved ones with a menu created by Culinary Director Joel Bickford and Head Chef Jarrod Walsh, centred around a stunning lobster course paired with a glass of Chablis.
Head Sommelier Eduardo Fritis-Lamora has also curated a special by-the-glass menu of rare and unique Chablis growers.
