To our amazing friends and community,
After much thought, we have made the difficult decision to close the TQK doors after 8 years of service on Friday the 20th of March.
Whilst this chapter is coming to an end, we are also looking forward to what lies ahead. A new and exciting concept store is coming really soon, and it's something we believe the community will really enjoy and have plenty to be excited about!
For myself personally, I found that serving this community has been an incredible journey, and we are deeply grateful for the trust, support and friendships we’ve built along the way.
What started as a small business quickly became something so much more meaningful because of the people who walked through our doors, and we couldn't be more grateful for the community that we have created.
To every customer who supported us, recommended us, shared kind words or simply chose us, thank you. It has truly been a privilege to be a part of your lives and all your celebrations through the years.
A HUGE shoutout to our Manager Tara.. the shop well and truly would not run without you. Your dedication and passion for this business is what kept our doors open, so we thank you.
And a massive thank you to our staff who have shaped this journey along the way - we really couldn't have done it without you. Your support, kindness and work ethic is what made TQK, TQK 😘❤️
Now it’s time for us to figure out what people do when they’re not at work all the time! We hope to still see many of you around the community, and as always, please say hello if you do.

We Have Some Important News ❤️
TQK has made the tough decision to stop our weekly meals menu, meaning pre-made meals will no longer be available for purchase in-store or via our website.
Although we are deeply torn by this decision, we’re excited to take Thali Queen down a new path, with a stronger focus on our coffee, café-style meals, and all the other little bits and bobs happening in the shop 🌶️
But don’t fret! TQK will continue bringing in new and exciting menu items, fresh flavours, and fun ideas that we can’t wait to share with you.

This year has been full of many surprises, challenges, good times and bad times, but we have worked through it (with blood, lots of sweat and many tears), and we couldn't have done it without our incredible team and the amazing community that we have built. 🫂
2025 brought us our new home ground in Menai, many beautiful new faces as well as a handful of lessons and learning curves.
