Hi Folks ,
Again , a rather short posting this week. With * FATHERS DAY *Weekend just a week or so away we’re putting out another suggestion to maybe think to book a table should you decide to ‘Dine In’ at FORMOSA. We’ve had quite few calls already but we still have tables available on the Friday and Saturday and just a few for the Sunday.

For the past few years it is our busiest weekend of the year and it’s now fast approaching .
Yes, on Sunday 6th September it’s ,
FATHERS DAY
It seems that it has become a weekend event to celebrate our Dads and recognise their contributions to the family .
Our Dining Room will , we hope be buzzing with families and so we’d suggest that making a reservation would be prudent.

Hi folks ,
Bbbbbrrrrrrrr ….. Well colds nights , Eh ?
And one of the best meals I find as comfort food when it’s cold is a yummy bowl of soup. We have some great soups in our core range with our Laksas and Combination soups but last night at home we had Beef Noodle Soup which we offer sometimes as a ‘Special’.

Well School holidays are over.
Life returns to a more normal routine as the Winter weather continues (at least for the next few days) with bright sunshine that does turn, temperature wise , a bit chilly and might we say “ Crispy “ at night. Hi Folks,
Well…….. That’s it then ,
Half the year , 2026 has gone and during its time there’s been some Good things that have happened and some Not so Good things .
I though prefer to dwell on the brighter side to life .
We’ve experienced some lovely weather during summer and autumn enabling us to do some enjoyable outdoor activities and now we can look forward what the winter season brings .
For example : Snow ❄️⛄️( when it arrives ) for those that like to ski ; Overseas holidays to the sun ☀️for those who prefer to find warmth abroad and Family and Friends gatherings around a warm fire 🔥at home to enjoy great company and perhaps some food and refreshments …
Which is where we come in !!
Cooking for a get together can take valuable time out of your leisure time so do think about placing an order with us …We’ll happily take the strain .

An update after last week’s posting …
We have a New Delivery Driver !!!

We’re delighted that Vanesa ,a local Currans Hill lass, is joining our Formosa team and will be carrying out our delivery service on our Delivery Days of THURSDAYS, through to SUNDAYS.
We wish her “Happy Delivering “ and hope you all enjoy her lovely smile at your door soon.
Now , we know all too well that there’s some pain out there in our community with dealing with the cost of living and how expensive some things are becoming . We know because we’re feeling it as well. Our suppliers are having to pass on their cost increases but we’re holding firm on our prices and in fact this weeks “ Special “ product is a REDUCTION in price from its previous offering :
