Just found the most authentic hotpot spot in Burwood 🥢🔥
Straight out of 1980s China — vintage posters, warm neon lights, old-school decor… it literally feels like you’ve time-travelled. The vibes are immaculate.
The food though??? Next level.
Super spicy soup base that actually hits (not watered down 😮🔥) and the beef… INSANE marbling. So tender, melts in your mouth after a few seconds in the pot.
If you love proper, traditional hotpot with atmosphere to match — this is the one.

I tried the newest hotpot place in Burwood recently and it did not disappoint! I was so impressed with the interior decor it was so unique and aesthetic! They also had an extensive range of options to choose from, ranging from all different kinds of beef and meat to all different kinds of veggies! I love beef so we got three different beef cuts and then some veggies and scallops! Our soup base was half half and we chose the mushroom soup base and the chicken broth soup base! I also recommend paying extra for sauce because the sauce ties all the flavours together and it’s just SO good!
