Funny thing about KKO KKO — some people in Pyrmont have walked past us for years before realising we're here
We're tucked inside the arcade, behind the curtain, away from the rush outside.
Then you step in. The charcoal is glowing, dinner is on the table, and suddenly Sydney feels a little further away.
If you've been meaning to find us, this weekend is a nice time to do it.
Babi Guling returns Friday + Saturday throughout September.
Friday · 5:30pm
Saturday · 5:30pm + 7:30pm
And our regular KKO KKO menu is available as always.

You could almost walk straight past us.
Hidden inside the arcade in Pyrmont, behind the curtain, is our little KKO KKO.
You step inside, someone welcomes you, you find your table, the food starts arriving… and sometimes dinner lasts a little longer than you planned.
That’s the kind of evening we love
And this Friday + Saturday, Babi Guling joins the table again.

Tonight, Babi Guling returns to our little room in Pyrmont.
Our Chef spent the past few months taking it apart, rebuilding it, tasting it again, and asking what could make every element feel even more complete.
The crackling.
The spices.
The sambal.
The little things around the plate that make Babi Guling feel like Babi Guling.
Tonight is the first service of Babi Guling 3.0
Friday + Saturday throughout September
If you’ve been waiting for it, this is where the story begins again

A finished plate is usually the last thing people see
What they don’t see are all the little conversations before it — the ideas that get changed, the things that don’t quite work, the tasting, adjusting… and sometimes starting again
That’s been part of our little kitchen for every seasonal creation we’ve put on the table
Yesterday we showed you the finished Babi Guling 3.0
This Friday, it finally leaves the kitchen and meets the table

Yesterday we finally admitted it was coming back 😅
Tonight, meet Babi Guling 3.0 properly
Our head chef didn’t want to simply bring back the old plate exactly as it was. So this version has been pulled apart, tested, adjusted and rebuilt piece by piece.
Wood-smoked pork belly. Crisp crackling. Pork satay. House-made sausage. Smoked coconut lawar. Cassava leaf curry. Balinese sambal. Jasmine rice with aromatic Basa Genap
Familiar in all the places that matter.
A little different everywhere else.
Every Friday & Saturday throughout September
First serve this Friday at KKO KKO Balinese ❤️

Some of you have been asking us when it would come back
And some of you are about to meet it for the first time
Babi Guling 3.0 is returning this September

What people say
Kkokko.Balinese is a food delivery service that offers a taste of Bali right in the heart of Sydney. Their Fish Cakes, wrapped in banana leaves and charcoaled to perfection with Balinese spices, are a must-try for anyone looking for an authentic Balinese experience. The Charcoal Beef Rib is another standout dish, seared to perfection and topped with a fiery chilli sambal sauce that will transport you straight to Bali. The restaurant's fit-out also adds to the overall experience, transporting diners to Bali with its traditional decor. Kkokko.Balinese also offers wine pairings for those who fancy a glass with their meal, and they are now open on Saturday evenings for dinner. They even host special events like 'One Night In Bali,' where guests can guess which proteins will be featured in their Nasi Campus Bali dish for a chance to win their meal for free. Overall, Kkokko.Balinese is a fantastic option for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience filled with bold and smoky flavors from Bali.
