They‘re calling hojicha the tea of 2026
We built a whole winter menu on it.

Ten cocktails, five teas — hojicha, sencha, genmaicha, oolong, jasmine — each one shaping a different mood.

Savoury and deep (yes, there’s tomato and parmesan in here). Smoky, floral, bright. Not your usual Sydney drinks list.

Swipe through and tell us which one‘s calling you 👉Then come find it at MOKU❤️

24, 25 of June, Japanese Blue fine tuna with sake pairing event by Hoshi and Cellar Mates.

HOSHI started as a humble oden pop-up at a sake festival in 2025.

Our mission is to make omakase more approachable; less intimidating, more personal. No rigid rules, just a chef-curated experience where you sit back, trust us, and enjoy.

Chef Kihoon
Born in Korea, trained at Shizuoka. Later on move to Dubai. At the end settle in Sydney. Worked at 6 head as executive chef, focused on the seafood program for the whole group. After leaving the group has joined besuto omakase and later on join Bay 9 Omakase as head chef.

4-course Blue fin tuna + 1 dessert pairing with Cellar Mates sake selection.

KINOENE Brewery Residency at Moku — 8–9 April 🍶

Moku Sydney is proud to host a special two-night Brewery Residency Pop-Up on 8–9 April, featuring Yoko Langford, representing KINOENE Brewery from Chiba, Japan.

For this residency, Yoko will guide guests through the philosophy, craftsmanship, and regional character of KINOENE, a historic brewery known for its elegant, expressive styles and modern brewing precision.
Guests will experience a curated tasting of four KINOENE sakes, each showcasing a different expression of rice, aroma, and brewing technique.

• Umakara Migakihachiwari Junmai – Clean and savoury with balanced dryness and umami, a classic food-friendly style.
• Hanayaka Takuminokaori Junmai Ginjo – Delicate and floral with refined fruit aromatics and a silky finish.
• Iinuma Honke Apple Namazake – Fresh, lively, and vibrant, with bright apple-like aromas and juicy acidity.

• Chicken & leek tsukune with truffle ponzu & egg yolk
• Baked Ora King salmon with finger lime & caviar beurre blanc
