Born in the province of Piacenza, it dates back centuries—when pilgrims walking the Via Francigena were offered simple food for strength: small handmade pasta made from flour and breadcrumbs, served with slow-cooked beans.
What started as “cucina povera” became a symbol of comfort, tradition, and home.
