One of the biggest lies we tell mothers is that accepting help is taking something from someone else.
Most people want to help. They just don’t know how.
They see the exhaustion, or the newborn haze. The endless load. They genuinely want to show up, but “let me know if you need anything” often goes nowhere.
MotherFed gives people a way to turn good intentions into action. Ameal. A grocery drop. A practical act of care.
She doesn’t have to ask and they don’t have to guess.
Because sometimes the greatest gift isn’t giving help.
It’s allowing someone to give it. And this is exactly why we created MotherFed.
A place where support becomes practical. Where people who love you can actually show up, and where mothers don’t have to carry the burden of asking.

Making this post stopped me in my tracks.
Because as I was writing each slide, I wasn’t thinking about features or marketing. I was thinking about real women. Women I know. Women I love.
I was thinking about Emma, whose husband was diagnosed with a brain tumour, and who kept showing up for everyone around her while carrying the weight of the world.
I was thinking about the women in my community who lost their babies, and the silence that followed. Not because people didn’t care, but because no one knew how to hold them in it.
I was thinking about the mothers I’ve watched quietly go without. Skipping meals, skipping rest, skipping asking, so their children didn’t have to.
And I was thinking about my own season. The financial strain and the sickness that came along with bringing my babies into the world, and having that be harder than anyone tells you it will be.
MotherFed was born from all of this.
Not just to coordinate meals. But to make sure that when a mother is in the hardest chapter of her life, the people who love her can actually show up without her having to ask twice, explain herself, or feel like a burden for needing help.
Because a fed mother isn’t just a mother who has eaten.
She’s a mother who has been seen.
That’s what we’re building. For all of them. For all of us.
