Hi ! it’s David from Cafe Minamisan in Asquith.
Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by the cafe to say their final goodbyes.
We had so many beautiful faces show up that service got a bit slowed down, and I’m truly sorry for the wait.
For the past three years, we poured our hearts into preparing every meal and crafting the highest quality coffee for everyone who walked through our doors.
Thanks to your support, we were blessed with so many amazing customers. Your warmth and kindness made every single day on the job an absolute joy.
From our regulars who grabbed their morning coffee, the parents stopping by after dropping their kids off at school, to those who popped in for a quick lunch break brew—sharing stories and connecting with all of you has made this farewell so incredibly special. 🙂
Cafe Minamisan is closing its doors here as we head toward our next chapter.
If a great opportunity comes along, we hope to prepare a new space and will definitely let everyone know!
When that day comes, please come visit us again!

Huge thanks to everyone who came by after seeing my last post! ❤️
But I’m writing again because a few of you were worried about me. :)
Just to clear things up, after successfully running and stabilizing the shop over 3 years, I’ve simply sold it to another chef-owner. There is absolutely nothing wrong with me or the business!
That said, it still makes me sad that I won’t be able to serve you guys my foods and coffee anymore. 😅
Also, sorry for the slight delay with the food and coffee today due to the rush.
I’ll do my absolute best until my very last week, so see you all next week!
