Nanyang Malaya will be closing its doors forever after 3pm today. This will be our last day of opening (Sunday 20th August). The Tea Club has closed at Haymarket. We would like to say thank you to all our Nanyang customers and family for the past four and a half years. The time has come to say goodbye.
We are deeply grateful for the love and support you've showered upon us throughout the years, especially during times of uncertainty through COVID. We cherish every memory we've made with you all. 🤗
While this chapter closes, the bonds we've formed and the moments we've shared will forever be etched in our hearts. ❤️ As we say goodbye to our beloved Nanyang Malaya Marrickville and Macquarie Park, as well as Tea Club at Haymarket, we look forward to seeing you in our other venues.
We hope to see you at Ipoh Hawker in Roseberry and Blacktown at the Dining Collective. Thank you again for being an integral part of our journey. 🙏👋

To get to Smidmore Street in Sydney via public transport, you can take the train and get off at Central Station. From there, walk towards George Street and catch a bus going towards the city center. Get off the bus at King Street and walk for about 10 minutes to reach Smidmore Street.
If you're driving, take the highway towards Sydney's CBD and exit at Bathurst Street. Continue onto Liverpool Street then turn right onto Castlereagh Street. Turn left onto Goulburn Street then turn right onto Elizabeth Street. Finally, turn left onto Smidmore Street.
There are several parking options available nearby, including street parking and various parking garages located on Goulburn Street and Liverpool Street.
