Sadly Mr Jones at Walsh Bay will be closing on December 19 this year.

We thank all our wonderful customers who have supported us over the years at the wharf. Many of you have become our friends and we will miss our catch ups with you at Sydney Dance Company.

For anyone that has a craving for our food and coffee, there is another Mr Jones Cafe. It’s located at 45 Jones St, Ultimo and is open Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm.
It will be closed over Christmas and re-open from January 13, 2025.

We wish everyone a wonderful holiday season and best wishes for the future!

How lucky we are to be part of the Walsh Bay Arts Precinct ⭐️

The $371 million project to turn the old Walsh Bay wharves into an arts precinct has just won a national heritage award. Architect Peter Tonkin describes these 1921 wharves as timber skyscrapers.

To get to the restaurant located along Hickson Road in Sydney, you can use various modes of transport.

If traveling by public transport:

- Take a train to Wynyard Station, then transfer to a bus and alight at Hickson Road near Towns Place.

- Alternatively, take a ferry from Circular Quay and alight at Walsh Bay Wharf.

If driving and parking:

- Head towards Hickson Road via Sussex Street, turn left onto Dalgety Road, and then left again onto Towns Place where you will find parking available.

- Another option is to park at the parking lot near Roslyn Stairs on Hickson Road, which is a short walk from the restaurant.
