This is Hannah’s.

Hannah’s is named after Hannah Beecroft — a woman whose name shaped our suburb. Hannah was the daughter of a brewer from Malton, Yorkshire, and the first wife of Sir Henry Copeland, the Minister for Lands who named Beecroft in 1886 after the Beecroft sisters (Hannah and Mary).

Their legacy still lives on in Beecroft today, including streets like Hannah Street, where we are located, on level 1 of Beecroft Place.

Our restaurant takes its name from this history — grounded in Beecroft, connected to its past, and created for our community today.
