How Things Are Happening at CK

To cook five chickens properly takes around one hour. We don’t rush the cooking process because we want to make sure the chicken is cooked properly and doesn’t spoil.

Customers often ask for specific pieces, such as breast or leg pieces. Sometimes we can provide them, and sometimes we can’t. The reason is simple: if we sell too many leg pieces, we can be left with too many breast pieces, and vice versa. We also don’t want to sell chicken that has been sitting in the warmer for 10 /15 minutes to our customers.

If you are coming from Campbelltown or Wollongong, or further away please call us ahead of time and reserve your preferred pieces. This will help us make sure we have them ready for you.

We keep the minimum number of chickens possible in the warmer to maintain quality. Sometimes, however, we can suddenly get hit with 50 customers at once walk ins, Uber Eats, DoorDash and orders through our own app. When this happens, things naturally take a little time.

Please be patient and don’t take your frustration out on our young front of house staff. They are doing their best, and sometimes it is simply difficult to control the situation when we are extremely busy.

As for Uber Eats and DoorDash drivers arriving late, unfortunately, this is something we cannot control. Drivers often have multiple orders to pick up, and delays can happen. We understand that it can be frustrating, but we genuinely appreciate your patience and understanding.

Driving/Parking:
If driving from the city, take the M5 South-Western motorway and exit at King Georges Road. Turn left onto King Georges Road and then right onto Stoney Creek Road. Turn left onto Princes Highway and continue until you reach your destination. Parking is available on the street or in nearby parking lots.
