Today marks International Day of People with Disability - a day to celebrate the achievements and contributions of people with disability, but also a day to advocate for the rights and wellbeing of people with disability.
This year's theme calls on us to 'amplify the leadership of persons with disabilities for an inclusive and sustainable future,' recognising the importance of inclusive leadership.
This , therefore, we celebrate the power of diversity and the contributions of all people and leaders with disability within Civic, within our own community, in Australia and around the world.
But inclusive leadership isn't just about representation. Its about creating environments where everyone can thrive, contribute and lead. True leadership values every voice, every perspective and every person. Today, we recommit to building a world where leadership is accessible to everyone - to creating spaces and opportunities that empower all individuals.
