Today I close the door on one of the most meaningful chapters of my life. A dream that began 10 years ago — a small café built with so much love, created to feel like an extension of my home. A place where people could slow down, connect, laugh, and truly feel they belonged.

Over the past decade, Kizmet Café became so much more than I ever imagined. It became a community — one filled with familiar faces, shared stories, and moments I will cherish forever.

To our beautiful community — thank you for trusting me, supporting me, and showing up day after day. Your kindness, loyalty, and love are what made this place what it is. I will forever be grateful for the friendships formed and the moments shared across the counter.

To my incredible staff, past and present — this journey would never have been possible without you. Your dedication, kindness, and passion were the heartbeat of this café. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Kizmet Café is now in the caring hands of Pre and Pemba. Pre has been part of the café since October last year, and I know they will honour everything this place stands for — your favourite coffee, beautiful food, welcoming smiles, and genuine, heartfelt service.

This goodbye isn’t the end — just a new beginning. I’m a local, and I’ll still be around, popping in, catching up, and sharing a coffee with you all — just from the other side of the counter. ☕️💛
