The Austrian Beer Bar & Restaurant, located in Dee Why, was a popular spot for locals to enjoy pub fare and a wide selection of beers. Unfortunately, the restaurant has been permanently closed as announced on April 18th, 2022. The owners expressed their gratitude for the support they received from the community and invited customers to purchase any remaining items during a clearance sale. Keep an eye out for their new location coming soon.

To get to Dee Why via public transport, you can take a train from the city to Dee Why station and then either walk or take a bus to the location. Alternatively, the L90 bus route runs direct from Sydney CBD to Dee Why Beach.
For those driving, there is limited on-street parking available around the area, but there are also several nearby parking lots within walking distance. Simply put "Dee Why" into your GPS or maps app and follow directions to find a suitable lot.
The pub/bar and beer bar/restaurant are located near Dee Why Beach, so you can easily combine a relaxing day at the beach with some delicious food and drinks.

Unfortunately, it seems that Austrian Beer Bar & Restaurant in Dee Why has closed its doors permanently. However, we would like to take a moment to reflect on the positive experiences we had at this establishment.
Austrian Beer Bar & Restaurant was a unique and cozy spot that offered a great selection of beers and delicious food. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with friendly staff who were always happy to make recommendations or chat about the different brews on tap.
One of the standout features of this establishment was their commitment to offering authentic Austrian cuisine. From schnitzel to goulash, every dish was made with care and attention to detail. And of course, the beer selection was top-notch - whether you were in the mood for a crisp lager or a rich stout, there was something for everyone.
It's always sad to see a beloved local spot close its doors, but we're grateful for the memories we made at Austrian Beer Bar & Restaurant in Dee Why. We wish the owners all the best in their future endeavors and hope to see them back on the scene soon!
