The dreaded day has arrived. We have closed our bifold doors during trading hours for the first time as it is getting a bit cool inside. Don't worry though we are still open 7 days till 10pm and if it gets to cool, we'll put ok the air-conditioning. 🥶🔥🍔🍟🥤

Im often asked why I tap my tongs and spatula before removing patties from the grill.
Now I have my answer...... It's a declaration that we are serious about our burgers!!!
According to a post on the page Australian Millennials ; "Aussie dads have confirmed double-clicking the barbecue tongs before use significantly improves the final taste of the meat.
According to the extremely serious findings it helps confirm tong readiness, establishing dominance over the barbecue area, and letting everyone nearby know you're bloody serious about cooking.
Experts say failure to click the tongs can lead to uncertainty in the cooking zone, lower confidence in the sausages, and a noticeable drop in onion morale.
“It’s not just a sound,” one barbecue specialist explained.
“It’s a declaration. The meat hears it. The guests hear it. The tongs hear it. From that point on, lunch has structure.”

A quick post to say thank you to everyone who came in today..... It has been our busiest day yet and we certainly felt it a few times. Our apologies if you got caught up when our service times were not at their best. We continue to learn, grow and evolve on how to run our busy little business.
