Is there anything more iconic than the perfect pie? We think not! Which is why The Dry Dock and LoDe Pies have come together to create THE DRY DOCK X LODE DUCK PIE - for one-week- only; exclusively for Broadsheet’s Dine Out Festival, July 27–August 2, 2026. Get set to clear your schedules, as this is a pie worth planning around!

The Dry Dock’s Chef Ben Sitton and LoDe co-founder Chef Federico Zanellato, of LuMi Dining fame, are passionate about their pies and have collaborated to create a delicious, French-style Duck Ragù pie that brings together award-winning duck, premium seasonal produce, classic technique and LoDe's signature pastry craft.

Available exclusively at The Dry Dock, for one-week-only; the pie features tender Windsor Downs duck, marinated for 14 hours in red wine, spice and aromatics before being slowly braised with seasonal vegetables, thyme and traditional French ingredients. The result is a rich, rustic filling of fall-apart duck folded through a gravy-style jus and encased in layers of buttery, flaky golden puff pastry, finished with a dramatic, pastry-wrapped Maryland duck bone poking through the golden crust, topped with a mix of perfectly toasted seeds and spices. Pull the bone out, and you’re left with a hollow in the centre, ready for a pour of rich gravy at the table.

THE DRY DOCK X LODE DUCK PIE will be exclusive to the bar menu, available in the Public House, no reservations needed, just wander in anytime! Open seven days a week until late.
