The patty was also cooked in bacon lard, which wasn’t a bad thing either. That’s the end of those patties, but will 100% make them again when we get a restock on the raw products.

Well, we were up early this morning to go and try a fancy breakfast - and I have to say, we all thought it was bloody delicious.

Usually, I don’t go for hyped up anything - too often you’ll leave disappointed. This is not one of those places… absolutely worth it.

Highlights are the honey butter pancake (obviously!), but if you put some chilli hot honey (from the four cheese toastie) on it, it’s even better. Brisket crumpet was a hit - and if you snag the tomato hot sauce put it on anything savoury, it’s a ripper.

Add hash browns where you can, they are amazing. Kids loved hot chocolates also, and they were pretty flash when they arrived. Nice setting, nice decor.

We will be back for lunch as soon as we can… very excited to see the lunch menu in action.

Great service too - seriously looked after this morning, which was nice after an hour ride in 🙂

Made some pretty snazzy burgers tonight… Kept it really simple, but turned everything up to 11.

Seeded potato buns, beef rib/porterhouse patties, smoked brisket tallow, chilli and garlic fried onions, bbq sauce and beetroot relish.

Nothing unnecessary, and everything done as good as I could do it. Absolutely phenomenal. If you were to eat one of these at a pub, I don’t see how you’d go back to regular beef patties…

Saved two for tomorrow night ;)
