A quick update from VBP Kitchen 🌿

Thank you to everyone who has supported our little batch-cooking project. The response has been far bigger than I expected, and I’m still working out the best way to manage orders and communication.

Facebook messages, comments, community pages and texts have become a bit difficult to keep track of, so over the next week I’ll be trying to move towards a dedicated SMS and WhatsApp ordering system. The goal is simply to make sure people see the menu, can place orders easily, and don’t miss out.

For those who are new here, VBP Kitchen is a small-batch cooking project running alongside Vinegar & Brown Paper. We source ingredients locally where possible, cook in small runs, and release menus as they come together rather than working from a set weekly schedule.

The menu will usually be released Sunday or Monday for Tuesday cooking, with the occasional extra dish or Friday run if time and ingredients allow.

This isn’t a meal subscription service and it isn’t a production kitchen. It’s seasonal food, cooked in small batches, when something looks too good not to cook.

Thank you for your patience while I iron out the details. It’s still a work in progress, but it’s heading in the right direction. 🌿

To get to the burger restaurant and fish & chips shop on Brighton Street in Bundeena, you can take a train to Cronulla station and then catch the ferry from Cronulla Wharf to Bundeena. From there, it is a short walk down Brighton Street.

Alternatively, if you are driving, you can take the Princes Highway south towards Cronulla, continue straight onto Gerrale Street and turn right onto Brighton Street. There is limited street parking available in the area.
