Pocket Rocketz is a fast food restaurant located on Withers Road in North Kellyville. They offer retro style jaffles with an Indian twist, as well as tandoori grilled meats. The restaurant has been rated as one of the top three food trucks in Sydney. Additionally, they have recently opened a permanent flagship store and offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Pocket Rocketz will also be participating in the Easter weekend food event at Pioneer Park in Malabar. Don’t forget to try their newest item, Butter Chicken Loaded fries!

Pocket Rocketz are rolling back into Sauce this week!

Big, bold Indian-inspired street food, stacked with spice, flavour and all the good stuff. Think their famous 64-hour Butter Chicken Jaffle, Naan Tacos, Loaded Fries and plenty more.

Why we’re walking away from Crows Nest.

For the first time in my life, I had to admit defeat.

I know everyone loves an underdog story with a neat little turnaround, but I’m not here to fake a positive spin. I failed. My ambition was bigger than my stomach, I bit off way more than I could chew, and my strength completely gave out.

Financial strain hit us hard—losing my car and having to replace it immediately threw us deep in the red.

Trying to renovate a space that huge was way too expensive, and forcing a kitchen build-out through endless council delays became a money pit I couldn’t sustain.

On top of that, I was trying to force Pocket Rocketz to be a daytime, morning-coffee brand in a car wash spot. But that’s just not what this brand is, and I refused to compromise on quality or sell average coffee just to survive.

The truth is, I tried to do this alone. I’m a chef, not a barista, and without a business partner, I fantasised way too much about being able to carry it all on my back. Between juggling Crows Nest, Norwest delays, caterings, events, and acting, the weight broke me.

It took a massive toll on my mental health to the point where I couldn’t get out of bed, bled into my personal life, and triggered a deep identity crisis.
I stopped asking for help, locked myself in, and hit an absolute wall. Even superheroes have limits.

So I’m walking away to preserve my mental health and whatever I have left.

I’m sorry for the false hope with Crows Nest, but sometimes you have to quit a situation before it completely destroys you.

It’s okay to fall face first and not instantly get back up.
This isn’t a permanent goodbye…we’re pivoting back to fixing Norwest, getting that running, and hitting the road for festivals, events, and caterings.

Live to fight another day. Third time lucky, maybe.

Finally I can reveal our amazing location no 2 in Norwest /Bella Vista . This one is close to home and should be ready and operational by the first week of August. Part 2 . This is where I need your help. I want you to tell me your ideas of how you would design this space with a budget that is non existent. A real challenge but with the help of my community we can get this done and make this Sydney’s most viral cafe ☕️ and chai bar.

I’m still not over it. Last 2 days were extremely tough and now doing the numbers I’ve lost basically my whole cafe budget , not counting the potential $$ I lost not being able to do the run in QLD. I’m beyond devastated and doubting my product, my business , my luck and most of of all myself and the choices I’ve made. I seriously want to give up because The reality of it all is hitting me like a truck so if you’re out there or know someone and can help with your expertise and experience I would be grateful ❤️🙏

I Need your help guys !! See I’m a food truck guy.. having a brick and mortar has always been a dream and now having so much space I have so many ideas but I need to focus these ideas. So I’m calling out any designers / mural artists and anyone that can help me transform this cafe into Sydney’s next go Indian Inspired cafe and possibly a bar ! Come do catering on the Feature Film set for new film “Laugh of Lakhshmi” thanks to for organising us to cater for the last 4 days on set and good to see so many familiar faces I have worked with before on film ❤️ looking forward to seeing work on the big screen.
