Hi everyone
It’s Lisa from Lisa’s bright side cafe just would like to clear up what has happened over the last week and why the cafe is closed , best to hear it directly from me !!

But firstly.....
I would just like to thank some people in the village / community for their support

Starting with the lovely Karen & Wayne and staff at Carey & Co
The beautiful Chris at kurrajong cellars, the amazing family at the friendly Grocer , kurrajong chemist girls ,
Kurrajong Bake house staff, Ray white realestate, Mark from the kurrajong post office, kurrajong nursing home, the girls at the cottage, Andrew from kurrajong butchers, CWA ladies,Helen and Pete who do so much for the community and have showed me so much love and support.
I feel it is so important when your starting a new business in a new area that the local shops support and back each other which is why I sincerely appreciated and wanted to thank them.

so
Now to explain and clarify what has happened and how sad I am that I have had to close my doors which comes with a heavy heart.
But unfortunately due to extremely high rent & 100% out going’s and promised a fully functioning kitchen and cafe in perfect working order and was given a non functioning kitchen with no functioning equipment and two air conditioners not working plus non compliant with council regulations on a number of issues.
It got extremely difficult to keep serving the community.

After numerous attempts trying to negotiate with the owner to correct and fix the issues nothing prevailed eventually the small business commission was involved hence an early release out of my lease, which was when my doors closed.
Thank you all for your love and support will miss so many of you but will be taking orders for bakes and helping a mate at the park lane cafe in Richmond xx
