This ANZAC Day, we pause to remember.
We honour the courage, sacrifice, and spirit of all who served during the Great War. We also recognise the Sikh soldiers who stood alongside ANZAC forces, including at Gallipoli in 1915. Their bravery and contribution form an important part of this shared history. Lest we forget. 🌺

This ANZAC Day, we pause to remember.
We honour the courage, sacrifice, and spirit of all who served. Among them, six from our own extended community who answered the call and stood with the ANZACs during the Great War. Their legacy lives on in the values we carry forward every day.

At Manjits Wharf, Butter Chicken is not just a dish. It is our family legacy.
The story begins over 100 years ago with Kundan Lal Gujral, who created tandoori chicken in Peshawar and later, in Delhi at Moti Mahal, transformed it into what the world now knows as Butter Chicken.
A simple idea. A powerful result.
Tandoori chicken simmered in a rich tomato gravy with butter, cream and perfectly balanced spices. A dish that went on to define Indian cuisine globally.
In 1984, the Gujral family brought this legacy to Sydney. Since then, Manjits has been serving Butter Chicken with the same foundations, the same technique and the same commitment to excellence.
This is not a version. This is the origin story on a plate.
