Shingle Inn Gladstone has become a welcoming community meeting place within the local club environment ☕
Through regular community catch-ups and local initiatives, the venue continues to bring people together while demonstrating how hospitality spaces inside clubs can help drive engagement, connection and repeat visitation.
As clubs continue evolving into broader lifestyle and community hubs, partnerships like this highlight the value of creating spaces that encourage people to stay longer, return more often and feel connected to their local venue.
Whether converting an existing café operation or launching a newly designated space, Shingle Inn’s flexible, turnkey solution complements your club’s offering and enhances the member experience. Clubs interested in exploring franchising or partnership opportunities are encouraged to get in touch. Contact Kathy Griffiths - [email protected].

What people say
Shingle Inn, located on Windsor Road & White Hart Drive in Sydney, is a coffee shop that has been making waves since its restoration in 2013. With a rich history dating back to the early 1930s, Shingle Inn has become a beloved institution for locals and visitors alike. The cafe's extensive restoration was celebrated by the Brisbane City Council in 2023, marking ten years since its reopening after being in storage for over a decade.
Shingle Inn offers more than just great coffee - it's also a hub for community events and charitable initiatives. The cafe regularly hosts festive celebrations like their Easter activities, which provide fun and comfort for families during the holiday season. Additionally, Shingle Inn participates in the RizeUp Easter Drive to support those affected by domestic violence. Customers can drop off Easter treats and toys at any of their locations to help create brighter futures for those in need.
But let's not forget about the food! Shingle Inn's Bunny Biscuits are back this Easter season - hand-cut and decorated with care, these seasonal treats are both fun and delicious. And all of their menu items are made with only the freshest ingredients, ensuring that every bite is bursting with flavor.
Overall, Shingle Inn is much more than just your average coffee shop - it's a community gathering place that offers delicious food and drinks while supporting important causes. Whether you're stopping by for a morning coffee or attending one of their festive events, you're sure to leave with a smile on your face.
