One day, a young man entered the bright lights of the kitchen at Berowra Village Tavern, and no one was ever the same. For nine years, Russell has been the soul of food service, keeping our hearts (and bellies) full.
He's never just been our head chef; he's one of the hardest workers, a truly talented individual and has made a significant impact on the food here at the tavern. Russell will be cooking his final meals as head chef at BVT this week.
Whether you've seen him locked in the zone, his head over the top of the benches or serving you a meal with a smile on his face, he will be a sorely missed member of our family here. Come along to the tavern for one last meal to say goodbye and wish him well!

To get to Turner Road in Berowra, if you're coming from the city, take the Pacific Highway northbound and turn left onto Yallambee Road shortly after crossing the Berowra Waters Bridge. Keep driving straight for about 2 kilometers and then turn right onto Barnetts Road. Then take a left onto Turner Road and the pub will be on your right-hand side.
If you're using public transport, the closest train station is Berowra Station which is a 5-10 minute drive away. From there you can take a taxi or bus to Turner Road.
For those who are driving, there is limited parking available on site, however street parking is readily accessible in the surrounding streets.
