There’s dhal, and then there’s Amma’s Dhal.
Made to Shaun’s family recipe, this is the creamy, comforting, scoop-it-up-with-everything kind of dhal we could eat any day of the week.
Great with a crispy hopper. Also perfect with freshly steamed string hoppers. Honestly, we’re not here to choose sides.
Just make sure you get enough to mop up every last bit.

We take our curries pretty seriously around here. Dark roasted curry powder and fenugreek in the chicken. Ceylon cinnamon and black mustard with the goat. Lemongrass and tomato with Mooloolaba mackerel.
The hard work happens in the kitchen. Your job is considerably easier.

Amma didn’t raise us to skip dessert.
Our Blueberry Pavlova comes with curry leaf custard and fresh mint. It's light, creamy, a little fruity and very easy to keep “just having one more spoon” of.

We’ve been keeping this one under wraps…🔥🔥
GINI is bringing the heat from Colombo to Colombo Social for the very first time.

For two nights only, they’ll be taking over our kitchen with a 7-course shared menu, bringing GINI’s signature style together with some of Australia’s finest seasonal produce.

Sticky Lamb Ribs with Jaffna spice and tamarind glaze. Sweet, spicy, sticky and absolutely not a knife-and-fork situation.

This is more than a meal, every table helps support Plate It Forward's work creating jobs and providing meals to communities who need them the most.

Our food is shaped by tradition, but it isn't afraid to have a little fun.
Alongside the Sri Lankan dishes generations have grown up with, you'll find playful creations that blend Australian produce with the bold flavours of the island.
Familiar for some, completely new for others, but always made to bring people together.
