This year marks the 25th year of East West Gourmetโs existence.
We never ran the business to attain an award or recognition, but to create a connection and sense of community through the love of food. Nothing has changed until this single day and we are running the same methods, recipes and people since day one.
Tonight, we were humbly invited to food guide 2026 awards. It all started from recognising our small takeaway shop for its true flavours and originality. Tonight, we were recognised and our name, East West Gourmet was called out loud amongst the most famous restaurants in Sydney.
Weโd like to congratulate all the award winners, hat earners and those that didnโt, but still take a part in Sydneyโs food culture and life.
To our loyal customers that stood by us since day one. Those that told their friends, that told their friends, so on and so forth, we are still running and working everyday thanks to you all.
We hope to continue to be your favourite lunch and dinner spot, serving you a warm meal.

If you're travelling to Albert Avenue in Sydney and planning to reach there using public transport, you can take the train and get off at Kings Cross Station, which is located just a few blocks away from the street. Or, you could use the bus service and hop on either route 311 or route 323, both of which stop near Albert Avenue.
