Lazy Thinking Lazy Thinking is a new restaurant and beer bar located on New Canterbury Road. The establishment boasts an interesting combination of brewery and snaggery, coupled with a record store - all due to open in late March 2023. Although the opening date was slightly delayed, the refit is well underway and the first menu is almost complete. Customers can expect sausage making classes at the new Petersham location, which can be booked through Chaotic Social. Get ready for an exciting and innovative experience at Lazy Thinking.

A quick heads up that we’ve just put the second instalment of Lazy Thoughts up on the website.

This one is mostly numbers. What it costs to run the venue. How the membership program is tracking. How we engage artists at the venue. Why we lose money on most shows, why we do it anyway, how we do it, and an update on our charity. That sort of jazz.

To get to New Canterbury Road in Dulwich Hill, the nearest train station is Dulwich Hill Station which is a 10-minute walk away from the area. Alternatively, you can take the 418, 426 or 428 bus and alight at Marrickville Metro Shopping Centre or Wardell Road.

If driving, take the New Canterbury Road exit from the M5 Motorway and continue along New Canterbury Road until you reach your destination. There are limited street parking options available near the area, but there is a carpark available opposite to Marrickville Metro Shopping Centre.
