Our final day in London before heading home. A really great overnight stay . Super cute bedroom above the pub . And gorgeous, fancy British pub food in the restaurant. The Wallace collection, strolling the streets and one final lunch .john.restaurant in Marylebone.
It’s been so lovely to be back home. Tears and laughter and more asparagus and Jersey Royals than any human needs😆
2 weeks was not enough time to see everyone we love and miss … but we’ll be back 💕💕.

20 hours in Bristol ! A beautiful hotel with a tub to swim in ! Catch ups with our dearest Sydney friend and . A gorgeous fish supper and a very windy morning walk over the downs . Not forgetting a 31st anniversary drink at the Avon Gorge … where it all began !

Thirty years without you mumma. Thirty years of missing you every, single day. You were my very best friend and literally cannot believe that it’s been so long since we both laughed together over absolutely nothing . Thirty years since of knowing you are watching over me every day. This was the only photo I had of us for years and years as it was all I could fit into my back pack. January 2026. A month of huge highs and massive lows. Two of our very best friends from back in the motherland came to stay. We had sooo much fun. Talking and eating and drinking and catching up on the last 4 years . Hearts were so full. And then we found out that Simon’s fantastic father passed away on the 17th. 2 months shy of his 93rd birthday . Our hearts were broken .. but the love we have from our friends has carried us thru . And now a new month . Let’s go February… let’s see what you’re going to throw at us !!

Bye Bye Pat. A man so full of life … it hardly seems possible that you’re no longer with us. But what a life you had … Stratford, Singapore , Sydney. So many fun times together. Holy mackerel !!! What a birthday dinner for Simon last night . Absolutely everything was pure perfection. The room, the staff the wine and the food . My God the food brought me to tears is was so good and soooo beautiful. I cannot explain how perfect everything was. Very very lucky to get to dine here.. but not as lucky as I am to get to celebrate 58 years of my gorgeous . I love you so much Mr Thomas … but we all know that 💕💕💕💕
