Sure, some meetings could have been an email: but why not head over to Steersons for a leisurely lunch meeting instead? A table with a view, good food arriving between the important discussions and voila: a productive conversation sure to impress colleagues (and your boss). No race. No rush. Join us for Not the Melbourne Cup Long Lunch at Steersons, where the only thing competing for your attention will be the food, the harbour views and the people around your table. For $120 per person, settle in for a thoughtfully prepared menu featuring Iberico jamón, white anchovy toast, Australian Bay slipper lobster with miso butter and native finger lime, and Westholme F1 wagyu rump cap with all the trimmings. Regretting that sad sandwich you packed for lunch? Allow us to introduce a much more appealing prospect: the Steersons Burger. Two juicy wagyu patties, gloriously melty smoked Gruyère, white onion and our special sauce, all tucked into a soft bun and ready to up your lunch came. Some midweek decisions are just easier than others. Come hungry!

Need a little something to make a Monday more appealing? How about delectable White Anchovy toast for just $2, only during Steersons Happy Hour? There’s an hour (or three!) when the working day starts slowing down but the evening hasn’t quite begun. We think it deserves a drink. Welcome to Happy Hour at Steersons. Promotion? New client? Project finally done? Wednesday? We’re not particularly fussy about the reason you’re joining Steersons for lunch. All we know is, you probably deserve it. From team wins and birthdays to the colleague who deserves a decent send-off, bring it to us. We’ll take care of lunch. You take credit for suggesting it. Bookings and walk-ins welcome, lunch is served from 11:30am to 3:00pm.

I absolutely LOVED their lobster roll!! Absolutely divine!! The bread just by itself was incredible, reminded me of prawn toast 🤤
For their steaks, the bavette was the winner. Tender, juicy and paired beautifully with the bernaise sauce. The eye fillet was just a bit more on the chewy side.
I also recommend getting their mushrooms as a side, and their dessert! Very refreshing after all the meat I had. For the drinks, the scarlet was nice but I wouldn’t recommend the mocktail version of the margarita. Tasted like pure lemon juice 😆
Overall, I had a great experience at this steakhouse. It was a bit pricey, but if you get the bavette steak or lobster roll, you will thank me 😋

To get to Lime Street in Sydney by public transport, take a train or bus to Wynyard Station and then walk towards George Street. From there, head east along George Street until you reach Lime Street. The restaurant is located on this street.
If you are driving to Lime Street, take the Harbour Bridge or Tunnel and exit onto Kent Street. Follow Kent Street until you reach Erskine Street, then turn right onto this road. Finally, turn left onto Lime Street where the restaurant is located.
