Up early and making the most of this glorious morning! What better way to start the day than with some fresh air, gentle movement and great company.
Our Walk & Talk crew were out enjoying the sunshine, sharing a few laughs and getting some steps in.
There's something pretty special about starting your morning surrounded by good people and a beautiful community.
We will be meeting at 8:45am every Monday at the bottom of Chellaston Street Camden. Next Walk and Talk group will be Monday the 19th October.

This is a friendly reminder that our walking group is cancelled for Monday 5th October as our office is closed.
From Monday 12th October we will meet at the bottom of Chellaston Street and will walk the Camden Bike Track meeting at 8:45am.

A friendly reminder that we are closed on Monday the 5th of October for the Public Holiday and will reopen again on Tuesday the 6th of October at 8:30am.
We hope you enjoy the long weekend - whether that means a sleep-in, a cuppa, time with family and friends, getting out and about, or simply enjoying a quiet day at home.
The team will be back bright and early on Tuesday morning at 8:30am.

Today we celebrate the incredible older people who are such an important part of our communities, our families and our story here at Camden Meals on Wheels.
Every older person carries a lifetime of memories, lessons, laughter, challenges, achievements and stories that deserve to be heard and treasured.
At Camden Meals on Wheels, we believe growing older should never mean feeling forgotten, unseen or alone.
Sometimes, it's a hot meal delivered directly to your front door.
Sometimes, it's a friendly smile, a conversation, a helping hand or simply knowing that someone is there. These small moments can make a very big difference.

Thinking of Volunteering?
Camden Meals on Wheels will be attending the Volunteer Expo this Saturday at Camden Civic Centre. The expo starts at 10am!
We will be at Stall 17, come along and say hello to our team and find out about the services we provide to our local community.
Volunteering with us is about so much more than delivering a meal. It's about our clients seeing a friendly face, having a conversation, lending a helping hand and making sure they feel connected and supported.
Whether you have a few hours to spare, want to meet new people or are simply curious about how you can make a difference, come and have a chat with our friendly team.

A friendly reminder our walk and talk is on this morning. We are meeting at 10am at the Camden Memorial Walkway. It's a perfect morning to be outdoors, the sun is shining, the birds are chirping and we've got some friendly faces joining us today.
The walk is free to attend.

Last month we celebrated National Meals on Wheels Day. The purpose of the day is for us to recognise the invaluable role our volunteers play in the services we deliver. We couldn't provide all the support we do to our community without the help of our wonderful volunteers!
One of our very own Volunteers has been added to the honour role for Meals on Wheels for 25 years of dedicated service to our organisation. Kay has shown up month after month, has lent a helping hand, shared a friendly smile, donated her famous jams to our events and continues to make a difference to so many of our clients.
Kay has been away the last month so today while she was here for her meal delivery, we were also able to give Kay her 25-year service pin and her certificate. Thank you, Kay, for being such an important part of our Camden Meals on Wheels team. 💐🎉

**Public Transport:**
1. **Tube:** Take the London Underground to Camden Town Station (Northern Line). Exit the station and head south on Camden High Street. Turn left onto Little Street; it’s a short walk from the station.
2. **Bus:** Several bus routes serve Camden, including 24, 27, 31, 46, and 168. Check local schedules for stops near Little Street.
**Driving/Parking:**
1. If you're driving, head towards Camden via the A503 or A5203. Follow signs for Camden Town.
