Police are appealing to the public for help locating a man reported missing from the Central Tablelands area.
Jake Kirby, aged 35, was last seen on North Street, Oberon, about 9pm yesterday (Sunday 4 October 2026).
When officers could not locate or contact him, officers attached to Chifley Police District were notified and began inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for Jake’s welfare as his disappearance is out of character.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 177cm tall, of medium build, with brown eyes, a brown beard and a shaved head.
Jake also has a number of tattoos, including a koi fish on his left arm, his name on his neck and upper chest, a star on the backs of both legs and a Southern Cross on his back.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact Chifley Police or Crime Stoppers
