You can’t make this s**t up…
I’ve taken a rare week off and I’m literally sitting in a hotel room with a bottle of red and just finished writing a new song on guitar about how we are not nice enough to each other in this world, and I get this beautiful message from an old muso mate of mine funnily enough and had to share. I’m sharing this not just cause of Jesse’s timing but also cause as an owner you want to be able to take a break and know your venue is in good hands. Well I can say it certainly f**ken is.
I say this a lot but my staff are my success and I will brag about them all day long ❤️

Spontaneous Appreciation post❤️
I’m feeling very emotional today. Not all days are like this, but today I feel connected.
As of late my venue has gone to another level. I’m talking like it’s peaking on so many levels. Me, personally, I’ve never been happier. And that for me is the team Im surrounded by. In saying that there needs to be a leader. Someone who cares more than me. Someone who is a giver, not a taker. Someone who has an abundance of humility. Someone who wants what’s best not just for me as an owner, but for her team and the venue. Someone who comes to work, day in day out with such a positive energy, it lifts us all to a level that we thought not possible. Someone cares SO MUCH it humbles me.
Ayla, I just want to say thankyou for all you do for Bonditonys and those around you. The staff love you 😍
Not every post should be about burgers, but more about the staff that make what makes this venue so damn special.
Im sure i speak on behalf of all the staff, you’re a f**ken good human 🤗

I just wanted to share what I believe to be an absolute hidden treasure in north bondi. Benny owns this joint and is just the happiest and most charismatic hosts I’ve met in ages. is just near my joint in north bondi. I’ve been a few times now and have become a huge fan of Benny’s old school hospitality. It’s rare to find such cool cats like him in our industry. It’s a small 18 seater joint and the food is insane. Sorry no food pics here haha you’ll have to go and see yourself. Anyways I Ike sharing things like this cause we all need to support the good guys and Benny is the one of them.
Pop in and enjoy. He even let ketchup inside to hang at my feet. That’s a win right there 🤠

Just found this on my takeaway phone and not the first time I’ve seen this happen. This just shows you the lengths my staff go to put a smile on customers faces. This dude is a regular and we have his mobile saved. So when he orders they send him funny photos before his order arrives with DoorDash. He loves it…..and I think they do to ❤️🌼

To many this means absolutely f**k all. And I get that. But to me it just adds to the already insane year I’m having.
It’s our 10th year and we just hit 10k followers. I’ve always made sure our growth has been purely organic.
To add to that Bonditonys is having its best year on record. With the help of my amazingly talented staff we have continued , week in week out, to pack this joint full of beautiful positive people enjoying our grub and just being rad!!!
Anyway just wanted to share this cause I’m a happy camper right now for so many different reasons ❤️🤗

Not sure why I waited so long to post these. This was our staff Xmas party some weeks back. Was meant to be our first boat cruise in years but the weather turned s**t so i said let’s all dress up, I’ll get a loan and we go to Icebergs. Still paying the mother f**ker off. Love you all. Honestly…..Best summer we EVER had cause of this crew! Blessed ❤️❤️

Now this is community. Tom and Troy from popped in today. I was running around out back and Ayla grabbed me and said they have something for you. So I went over for a chat and they handed me this card. Was a lovely funny card that said thankyou and was signed by all the boys. It now has a permanent spot near the front door with all the other memorabilia. I did a little gesture for them a while back and thought nothing of it, gotta share the love, but it meant a lot to them. Anyway it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside today, so wanted to share how a little Thankyou goes a long way. Loved the card and this truly made what was already a great day, even better ❤️

Appreciate your amazing hospitality and the super friendly and accommodating staff. Nothing was an issue. We will be back again soon.

I thank God this woman came into my life. Timing couldn’t be more perfect!
Ayla has been a dear dear friend for years and has casually worked at Bonditonys on and off since I met her. But that’s all about to change as she takes on the role of managing my venue full time effective tomorrow.
2026 is gonna be a HUGE f**ken year for us and I have the best team to back it up (also have an amazing kitchen manager)
This is manifestation at its peak!

Congrats to my dear friend Tanya. We’ve known each other for a good 20 years I’d say. Tanya has just open a gorgeous Tonic & Ritaul Bar in Bondi. Beautiful natural carved wooden tables and chairs and just incredibly organic. Pop in and say hi. Another local doing great things In our community

Many many moons ago, I met this man. I had just done my very first ever acoustic show as a would-be promoter. Back then I was into singer songwriters performing original acoustic music only. It was called RAW DELICIOUS. Dinner and show with 4 artists. It Sold out. Ben Holloway came to the show and then approached me later. He said I’d love to play the next one. So I invited him over to my house to audition. I sat in my lounge room, he pulled out his guitar and started singing. It was the most angelic voice I had ever heard. So moved I was that I started crying. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.. Along with his Infectious aura it really was a moment. What started was a life long friendship to this day that has surpassed anything I could have hoped from a human being. Always checking in on me in my darkest days.
If you what to be taken to a place that few have the talent or voice to take you to, then this is an experience you can’t miss.
