Our very own Woody stepped onto the competition stage, representing The Grounds Roastery alongside some of the best NSW & ACT.
Part of the Community Coffee Champs, the Brewer’s Cup is all about precision, creativity and showcasing the craft of manual brewing at the highest level.
From dialling in every variable to presenting in front of a crowd, it was a moment that reflected Woody’s dedication, knowledge and passion that goes into his craft.

Follow our Director of Coffee, Nick and The Roastery team as they work through a fresh round of Ethiopian samples from Geisha village; tasting, comparing and scoring each one to see what stands out.
From setup to first pour, breaking the crust and revisiting each cup, it’s a process of grading, debating and finding the coffees worth adding to our future line up in our Rare category.

Fuelled by great vibes and even better coffee ☕️🏃
Last Sunday, The Grounds Roastery team rolled up to the HOKA Runaway Sydney Half Marathon with our coffee tuk-tuk, pouring coffees for participants, spectators and everyone in-between looking to soak up the atmosphere.
