This month, we’re shining the light on an all-time legend. Alfie has been pouring his finest brews for the Annandale community for over 11 years now. In that time, he’s become a familiar face to plenty of locals, getting to know his customers - and their pups - like family. And for Alfie, a good chat while he’s brewing away is still one of the best parts of the job.
Even better than an everyday chinwag is when Alfie recruits folks to sing his favourite tunes. Now if that doesn’t tell you what kind of legend he is…
If he’s not behind the machine, Alfie’s likely treating himself to a lie-in with crumpets and coffee whilst catching up on his shows. We’re always fans of a slow and easy morning - especially where there’s coffee involved.
If you find yourself around the neighbourhood this week, make sure to swing past Annandale Bakehouse, say g’day and let Alfie pour you one.
