This month, we’re giving a shoutout to two of Sippy’s finest baristas - Ben and James - who make their locals’ days that extra bit special. Whether it’s chats across the counter, a perfectly poured brew or helping the morning rush run smoothly, these two know how to keep the cafe humming.
For Ben, the best part of Sippy is the relationships he's built with customers over time. Outside the cafe, his ideal day looks like quality time with his son, a good bite to eat and a run to finish things off. Meanwhile, James appreciates the people he meets and the art of making great coffee - and when he’s not behind the machine, you’ll find him exploring or spending time with mates.
While they both pour an epic brew, they’ve also had their fair share of chaos - from chocolate powder explosions mid-rush to James spilling something on himself most days.

Parx Prestons is a neighbourhood cafe that feels like a second home to locals - and Allie is right at the heart of it all. Known for her sarcastic comments and the occasional little dance to get through the day, she keeps the cafe buzzing.
Fun fact: she has a severe fear of bees and wasps - fair enough. Aside from that, she’s an absolute gem in the coffee game. When she’s off the clock, Allie is out with mates bowling or at music festivals, or enjoying a quiet night watching TV shows.
