Amigos e amigas
Today is our last day serving the most delicious, authentic Mexican street food on the Northern Beaches. The building where we are currently located has been purchased by developers and will be demolished soon, so it’s time for us to go!
As most of you know, Gabi and I opened and operated El Gusano Taqueria on our own, with a very small team and without much help or family around. All while raising two little humans. The last 3 years were intense - specially the last one! - but to say we’re not sad to see our Taqueria go would be a lie. That said, we look forward to some downtime with the kids and a little break to help us figure out what’s next! So stay tuned as we’ll share any news here!
We wanted to thank you all for your support, patronage and friendship over the last 3 years. We had a great time bringing authentic Mexican flavours to the Beaches and raising awareness for what Mexican food is really about!
We are open from 5pm tonight so feel free to pop in to say goodbye and to enjoy one last taco with us!

Public Transport: Take a train or bus to Redfern station. From there, walk straight down the road until you reach the second intersection. Turn left and continue walking until you reach the restaurant.
Driving and Parking: Head towards Redfern station and turn right onto Lawson Street. Continue straight ahead until you see a car park on your left-hand side. Park your car there and walk towards the opposite direction of the car park. Keep walking until you reach the restaurant.
