Busshari Busshari is an authentic Japanese restaurant located in the bustling area of Potts Point on Macleay Street. The restaurant offers a touch of sophistication along with unpretentious decor, featuring ebony tiles, charcoal pebbled walls, smokey mirrors and tall Tasmanian oak dining tables along with a slender sushi counter. Busshari opened in 2006 and specialises in Japanese style seafood including sashimi, sushi, oysters and tempura. Executive Chef Nobuyuki Ito fuses original flavours together in order to create unique, flavoursome dishes which are enhanced by his creative presentation. A New Chapter Begins ✨🍢

The 21st of March marks our final day of trading under the Busshari name — a bittersweet milestone we hold with great pride and gratitude.

Following a two-week renovation, we are thrilled to announce that we will reopen in April under new management, renamed O’den Bar Umami — a Japanese restaurant specializing in authentic and modern Oden cuisine. 🍢🇯🇵

While the name may change, the soul of hospitality that has defined Busshari will live on.
Many of your beloved Busshari favourites will remain, ensuring that the flavours you’ve come to cherish are never far away.

To reach the sushi restaurant on Macleay Street, take a train or bus to Kings Cross Station and walk southeast on Ward Avenue towards William Street. Turn left onto William Street and continue straight until you reach Macleay Street. Turn right onto Macleay Street and walk until you arrive at the destination.

If driving, take route 1 towards Sydney and exit onto Kings Cross Road. Turn right onto Ward Avenue, left onto William Street, and right onto Macleay Street. There are nearby parking options available, including street parking or a paid parking lot located at Llankelly Place.
