Today we pay tribute to our wonderful Jennie who was once part of our Christina’s Gourmet team, as well as a very loved family member.
She supported our little family business with care, dedication, and warmth, and her presence made a lasting impact on all of us. She will be deeply missed, not only for her contribution but for her kindness and the joy she brought to those around her.
We’ll always smile when we think of her delicious sticky date puddings made with love and shared so generously which has also become part of our menu.
She will never be forgotten.

Our last onsite chef event for an 18-year-old's birthday party was a huge success, with our team serving delightful Char Kuey Teow and BBQ charcoal satay chicken.

I recently had the pleasure of catering for a notable gathering of 80 guests celebrating a significant first birthday party.
The menu featured an array of vegetarian options including Fried Hokkien Noodles, Chinese Fried Rice and Vegetarian Curry Puffs. Additionally, BBQ Satay Chicken and Lamb Curry were also served.

We had a special time documenting our WEE family’s Nyonya heritage for an upcoming cookbook and documentary series - a passion project of a local film director.
As part of this project, we cooked some of our most treasured dishes — Nyonya Ayam Pongteh, a comforting and traditional stew often shared during family celebrations, and our signature Nyonya Assam Prawns, bursting with bold, tangy flavours.
This cookbook series is more than just recipes — it’s about preserving our heritage and telling the stories of love, history, and culture passed down through generations.
Food connects us, and we’re so proud to keep our Peranakan legacy alive, one dish at a time.

We had a fantastic weekend with our team catering a vibrant 21st birthday celebration! Our freshly cooked satay and Char Kway Teow stole the spotlight, delighting guests with their bold flavours. The buffet featured a delicious spread, including our popular lamb curry, sweet and sour chicken and a variety of vegetarian dishes ( Lemak nyonya curry , sambal cili garam eggplant, gago gado salad — a true feast for all.
